SUMMARY:Meet local author Zachary Rae
DESCRIPTION:Zachary Rae\, native son of Sayre\, PA and author of Unkillable\, a memoir\, will be at Bradford County Library on February 17 at 11:00 a.m. \nMr. Rae tells us that he wrote his memoir “… while I was facing the possibility of cancer returning in my twenties. \n“I didn’t wait for a happy ending to start telling my story. In fact\, I started writing while waiting for a PET scan that would tell me if the cancer was back. Every day was filled with uncertainty\, and that feeling bled into every word I put down. \n“This book isn’t just about cancer\, it’s about everything that came before it and everything I’ve had to fight for in life. It’s about the heartbreaks\, the mistakes\, the small wins\, and the moments that made me who I am. Cancer was a part of my story\, but it wasn’t the whole story. […] \n“If you’ve ever faced something you weren’t sure you could survive\, and found a way to keep moving anyway\, then I hope these words resonate with you.” \nYou may read more about this memoir at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61578316119319
